My name is Nathan King, and I started building instruments (I began with cigar box guitars) in 2009.  It's come a long way since then, and I have no intentions of stopping anytime soon. 

 

There are a lot of people who build cigar box guitars these days; what sets me apart is that I play them, too.  As any stage performer knows, an instrument has to look cool, sound great, and feel comfortable... but above all, the instrument has to be reliable. 

 

Simply, my promise to you is this: if I wouldn't play one of these instruments on stage, under the most demanding conditions... I wouldn't expect you to, either.
